SUMMER REGISTRATION 

CANSkate

CANSkate Ages 3yrs & Up Stage 1-6
Adult / Teen CANSkate (All Levels)
45 minute lesson

Location: Sunset Arena, 390 E. 51st Ave.

Sessions:
SUNDAYS – July 8 – August 12, 5:15pm – 6:00pm
6 Sessions

*Sunset Rink does not have helmets or skate rental available, so you must bring your own. See our Helmet Policy for required helmets.

Hockey Skills (CANPower Skate)

Sessions:
SUNDAYS – July 8 – August 12, 5:15pm – 6:00pm
6 Sessions

Cost: $60 

A dynamic program that prepares those skaters who are just joining a hockey league, ringette league, or for those who have some skills they want to improve.  Focus will be on improving speed, power and agility.  Skaters will work on improving their forward and backward skating, crossovers and quick turns.  Timed drills will be worked on and recorded.  Each skater will receive a copy of their drill times.
  • Skaters should be able to skate forwards and backwards and have their Level 3 CANSkate
  • Hockey Skates, Helmets & Hockey Gloves will be required.
  • Hockey Sticks will sometimes be used, but no shooting or passing of pucks.

Full hockey equipment is required. Hockey sticks will sometimes be used, but no shooting or passing of pucks. Minimum of 5 students registered to run class.

Sessions: July 3  – August 12, 2018, 2 days per week.

SUNDAYS:
2:45 – 4:30pm

Cost: $230

Junior, Intermediate and Senior Freeskate, and Dance Patterns/Edges & Elements.

Session: Summer –  July 3 – August 12, 2018
Location: Sunset Arena, 390 E. 51st Ave

Pricing and times for StarSkate can be found on the registration form. Check with your coach  regarding which session to register in.

6:45 – 7:15 Stroking/Spin Patch
7:15 – 8:00 Int/Sr Freeskate

Thursday 
12:00pm – 2:15pm Freeskate Development
(includes off-ice, 1:40pm – 2:15pm + all coaching fees)

Sunday
3:45 – 4:30 Jr Open (Freeskate Priority)
4:30 – 5:15 Int/Sr Open (Freeskate Priority)

OFF ICE
Sundays: 2:45pm – 3:30pm
Tuesday: 5:00pm – 5:45pm

 NEED TO MISS A CLASS?

  • Notify your coach at least 24 hours in advance should the skater need to cancel a lesson. If 24-hour notice is not met, the lesson will be forfeited and you will be charged for the missed lesson.
  • If 24-hour cancellation notification is provided, our coaches will schedule a make-up class within the current skating year (please note that due to a full roster,  it may take a few weeks to schedule the make-up classes).
