Grandview Skating Club

Serving the Community Since 1966

Welcome to the Grandview Skating Club Website !!!

We hope everybody enjoyed themselves at the year-end Ice show.  It was a sell-out crowd which was a wonderful experience for all our performers!

We would like to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who gave us their support throughout the show and in all it’s planning.  Thanks to everyone who came out and to all of our volunteers, coaches, skaters, parents, board members and donors as well as the Trout lake community center.  We could not have put on such a great show without all of you!

Sincerely,

The Grandview Skating Club

If you missed the show or want to see it again we are now taking orders for a dvd of the performance.  Order forms can be found in the forms section of our website:

Mission Statement

Our mission is to encourage the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of our members in all aspects of skating while keeping the costs affordable.  We have a new facility with great ice as well as great coaches & volunteer/instructors.  We have a great family environment as well.

WE ARE THE ONLY CLUB TO OFFER FULL ONE HOUR CANSKATE LESSONS!

Unlike other facilities that only offer 45 minutes – we are unique in being able to offer not just the longer one hour session but we also have more hands on instruction.  All of our experienced STARSkate and competitive skaters volunteer with CANSkate.  Volunteering enables our skaters to gain experience as well as to build their confidence.

We welcome new members into our Canskate, Junior Development and figure skating levels.  We offer programs for adults & teens who wish to learn figure skating or improve their skating skills.  We also offer Power Skating & Hockey Skills for those wishing to improve their skating agility & endurance.

Click here for information about our FACILITIES and DIRECTIONSParking will no longer be an issue.

We have posted pictures of our skating events and past competition results.  If you have any pictures you would like to share – be sure to email them to troy09later@photos.flickr.com       We just started posting images to our new online account.  http://www.flickr.com/photos/grandviewskatingclub/
